Hundreds of vehicles pass by the right-of-way on 8th Street, between Lincoln and Buchanan each day!
Though it is not an official entry way into the neighborhood, it is often the first thing people see, or the last, when traveling through our neighborhood.
Our anti-blight teams are no longer available, as of 2022, which leaves it to us: residents, workers, and frequent visitors to prepare the right-of-way for 6 months of warm weather.
We are asking for a minimum of 1 hour on Saturday, with the Habitat for Humanity Tool Bus parked at Trinity Lutheran Church to clean out trash and debris. Volunteers will be gifted with a couple small giveaways and an opportunity to get to know their neighbors better.
Please note, a hold harmless agreement must be signed at the event -- it is an active traffic area. Anyone under the age of 18 must have guardian permission.
