Kids at the Market is a new program this year! Partnered with Breadbasket Farmers Market, we are providing kids ages 5-12 with $5 in vouchers they are able to spend on fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. Volunteering to help with this event includes helping set up the table at the market, educational activities for kids to participate in, helping children get signed up to receive vouchers, explaining the program and interacting with kids and their guardians, passing out vouchers, and helping to tear down the booth at the end.

| Inclement Weather Plan: In the case of rain or extreme winds, we will cancel the event. There will be a canopy to provide shade to those volunteering. Volunteers are encouraged to wear sunscreen, bring a lawn chair, and stay hydrated . | |
