Mission: Join the impactful mission of YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment (CSE), dedicated to providing vital support and confidential services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking in Shawnee, Jackson, and Wabaunsee Counties, Kansas. We strive to create a safer community through our comprehensive safety initiatives and empowering programs.

Position Title: Front Desk Volunteer

Opportunity Overview: As a Front Desk volunteer with YWCA CSE, you will play a crucial role in assisting survivors and furthering our mission.

Here's how you can make a difference:

  • Answering Calls: with compassion and empathy, providing a supportive voice to those reaching out for assistance.
  • Client Welcome: Extending a warm and welcoming presence to clients as they arrive for services, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Data Management: Assisting with data entry and compilation to help us track and analyze important information that informs our programs and advocacy efforts.
  • Donation Support: Organizing and recording donations, contributing to the essential resources that directly impact survivors' lives.

In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to directly support survivors, making a profound difference in their lives. To ensure the highest level of care, completion of our Advocate Training Program and a background check are required.

Shifts Available:

  • 4-hours shifts, either from 9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • We understand the value of your time and can work with your availability to find a schedule that suits you.
