Current opportunities:
First United Methodist Church (Eighth Street) - Cleaning out rooms on third floor, carrying items up and down the stairs.
Wild Ivy Herb Farm (1450 Road) - Seed planting! Other opportunities exist for weeding, tilling, spreading mulch, erecting trellis, etc. Something for most physical abilities! All volunteer opportunities are outdoors or inside hoop houses. Wear closed-toed shoes, bring water bottle. Light snacks provided
Healing House (Ames Street) - Outdoor work/yard cleanup. We’d love your help picking up all the fallen branches, burning them, planting new plants, cleaning up old fallen/broken statues, & sprucing up our outdoor sitting areas!
The Light Center (Woodson Road) - Wear grubbies, water proof shoes, rubber gloves if you wish. Working with Earthen Plaster on the interior of a dome. Non-toxic (clay, straw, sand mixture) Involves being up on ladders for some. Really fun and interesting!! Tall and strong people would be awesome but anyone can do this!
