Who We Are
LiveWell was formed in 2008 by a group of community members committed to improving the health and well-being of Douglas County. Today our community coalition continues to work on policy, system and environmental changes to address social determinants of health and advance health equity.
What We Do
LiveWell consists of six different workgroups: Healthy Built Environment, Healthy Food for All, Safe & Healthy Kids, Sexual Violence Prevention, Tobacco-Free Living, and WorkWell. If you are interested in addressing systemic health issues in our community, please consider joining one of our work groups. Volunteer opportunities for specific projects or activities are also available, such as garden workdays, community education activities, or public health data collection.
