Join Us! Be part of a team of civic scientists who plant research plots containing perennial and annual grains. Volunteers will help set up plots which icludes building raised beds to control erosion, laying out aisles of artificial turf to allow gardeners and observers to do their work without getting muddy, and planting seeds and seedlings according to plan. Residents will have the opportunity to interact with the plots to make observations, collect data, and share their thoughts and data with researchers. Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024, with inclement weather date of Thursday evening, May 23, 2024. An hour or two is great!
